		<description>Texasportsfan, that's a good question.  And the answer depends primarily on how we define "word" in the phrase "true word of God".  If by "word of God", you mean God spoke the words and they ended up in our Bible exactly as spoken, then no, I do not believe that.  Personally, I think a better phrase would be the "message of God".  I do believe the message of God is in our bibles, and there's probably more of the true message in some translations than others.  The challenge is in figuring out what that message is.  Many denominations have arose from disagreements over what that message really is.

What I don't understand is the importance that so many Christians put on the idea of inerrancy.  I'm going to write more about that in the next entry.  Thanks for following along and for the question.</description>
