I’m sure yall see things all the time that just make you laugh, even when you are alone. Do other people laugh when they are by themselves? I do. Of course I often talk to myself too, yes, out loud. But then I know I’m strange. Anyway, the other day, I’m driving home down HWY 77 and see up ahead a hitchhiker. No, I don’t naturally think Hitchhikers are funny. But in the 4 lane road I’m driving in, there is a little scooter/moped riding in the lane right beside me. And the Hitchhiker isn’t really paying attention to the traffic, just holding his thumb out as cars go by. And all I could think of was the image of him holding out his thumb to that moped. All the possible pictures running through my mind made me laugh.

It reminded me of the scene in the movie Dumb & Dumber when Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels drive to Aspen on a single moped with Jeff Daniels on the back with his arm wrapped around Jim Carrey with frozen snot-sickles running down his face.

Needless to say, the guy on the moped did not stop to pick up the hitchhiker. If he had, I think I would have had to stop too, just to watch.
