Even if you’ve never said it out loud, I know you’ve wondered, “What’s so great about heaven?”  Everybody wants to know what heaven will be like.  And even though the Bible does talk about heaven a lot, its very difficult for us to really have a decent understanding of what heaven will be like.  We know God is there, so actually that should be enough.  But our little finite minds just want more understanding than that.  And while I can’t tell you exactly what to expect in heaven, here’s just a few things (added bonuses) that should make you really anxious to get there.

  • No more sin
  • No more feeling guilty
  • No more embarrassment
  • No more temptation
  • No more jealousy
  • No more miscommunication
  • No more selfishness
  • No problems sleeping
  • No more tiredness or exhaustion
  • No more boredom
  • No more having to discipline your children
  • No more apologizing for doing stupid things
  • No more being fat, or skinny, or weak
  • No more cleaning the house
  • No more paying bills
  • No more driving in rush hour traffic
  • No more traffic accidents
  • No need for lawyers
  • No more locks on the doors
  • No need for Doctors
  • No more depression
  • No more disappointment
  • No more trying to impress people
  • No more broken relationships

Can you imagine a place like that?
